Anthropology, ethnography, cultural studies, and in practice, building a startup culture and the role of the founder, had always interested me, Kuba Niechciał's "Successful employee onboarding should focus on culture", though not to the core of my interest, seems not far fetched and as someone who feel more at home on international flights than in any location, even if you don't run an organization, I hope it serves as a reminder that more often than not it is important to express the details of the cultural convention and the underlying values –often invisible to yourself– to a new comer, or otherwise your setting those individuals or if they are set at high ranks, the whole organization culture for failure ...
