History

Since the first day I stared to learn how to make a webpage at high school, and back then we were thought to do so in the old-fashioned way using table, tr and td, I was interested to make an online journal.

Quickly I learned HTML and CSS, and back then the new version 3, which was really brand new ... So, even though we were supposed to hand one blog design at the end of the semester, I made 8 to 10 different blog or website designs.

Summer of that year I was ready to publish my web designs online and start with the online journal but no money to buy a domain and purchasing a web hosting service!

Disappointed I finally started with blogging, as well because it was the hype in our high school. I wrote one post, which received a comment by the founder of that free blogging platform, but hence my high school classmates fought over the ownership of their group-run blog and stopped blogging, and that I received no other serious visitors than [presumably] the founder of that platform, and the sheer fact that I wanted my own publication and not a "blog", I stopped that blogging thing ...

Few years later I received one of the latest invitation to newly developed publishing platform "Medium", test the platform as the latest batch of their beta users, before going completely public ...

This time I and Sarah González teamed up to publish our thoughts together, it was a great article, at least in my view back then, but Medium didn't provide us any reader. And it felt like another disappointment to use a third-party service when they can't help you get one single more visitor to your content.

Either you are well read and you will be well read on the Medium or your content will be nowhere promoted ...

I and Sarah didn't work together for a while and for my other ideas I started the website "hossein.eu" and published few of the things on a blog there ...

After being out of EU and cause lots of other reasons, step by step I moved from "hossein.eu" to "Lost Ideas Lab", firstly there was a blog and a separate writing section, lately a bit back and forth between using a "blog" or something else, and that something else today is "The Lost Ideas Lab Journal" ...
