Dropouts, the start ...

April 15, 2016 I get the chance to get to know Amber Dubinsky as one of the couches at Startup Weeked Luzern 2016. Since my relationship with A. S. went all the way wrong than I would have ever considered myself capable of, in the back of my mind I had this decision not to be close to women ...

But something on Amber made me give up on my resention and three days later try to find out who that person who expressed those wishes is, and hopefully have her ambition as directly or indirectly part of N's Ideas Hub.

For the first time I've met someone who had watched the documentary "Alphabet" by Erwin Wagenhofer and I was so glad that finally I have found someone who aims the same in respect of education for children, but it turned out Amber is far more deep believing in the current state of affairs, that she can't even imagine, it could be possible to educate out of school. To me her ambition seemed to fell short of inventor who can solutions out of what is currently offered on the society. On the other hand I wasn't that much ready to take the role of a leader and ask her to join my own team. I was there as a student and for me to get a permission to work on anything other than spending time in the univeristy is nearly impossible unless I marry someone and even if you only know me from this blog, it won't be a big secret that so far no woman considered me to be worth giving her hands ...

Still, I wished I could encourage her, no matter where in the world I land, to realize the dream of her heart ... I hoped, she would realize the path they have chosen won't be that successful. Maybe I should have asked the individuals there to help me with my conditions. Maybe I should have upfront tried to solve my permission issues ... but let's continue with Amber and her dream: "Wir müssen die Kinder an ihre inneren Stärken und Fähigkeiten führen, um sie für die Zukunft vorzubreiten." actually this dream on itself is harmful, because the reality is that we don't need to and for sure we should not even try to "guide children". There is a great difference on being a leader and on leading others. So, we never need to search for how to lead others, rather we will discover in ourselves that in some moments of life, we are the leader of a group.

Our aim is that "every human being become who they are1". and I hoped Amber, if not now, at least one day accept the idea of the growth of children with such philosophy ... an as written on The Lost Ideas Lab Journal, I believe "The fundamentals of current education systems are desperately false …", the misleading objective to prepare children for the future ...

But Amber didn't give up there. She asked me to know how I would do it, and my immediate response was that I am not from here, I don't have the permission, I am different than you, so lots of the freedoms that I you have, I don't have access to them, so let's work on improving your work ... but our passionate and friendly argument, didn't come to result Amber was hoping for, nor I could win her heart to do things differently.

Now, after a couple of months, this is how I would do it: "Dropouts", if Allah wills ...

Hope to see more from you, if you shift your views Amber.
